These young Great Horned Owlets are just starting to fledge and venture out of the nest for the first time. It will take several weeks before they are confident to leave the nest and mother very far.

My wife (Frances) and I are a photography team that moved from the south in 2004 and relocated near Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks because of our love of the beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife. Everyday brings a new and exciting adventure into our lives and we continue to be amazed by God's wonderful creations. Our hope is that a small portion of the beauty that surrounds these great parks and the west will be shared through our photographs and art.
